Moscow Domodedovo International Airport Train Transfers

There are several ways to get to or from Moscow Domodedovo Airport (DME) in a convenient way that suits you. Besides renting a vehicle from one of the several car rental companies located at Domodedovo airport, for the freedom of movement within Russia, there are also buses, taxis, Aeroexpress trains, and the commuter trains.

Transfer to and from Moscow Domodedovo Airport by Aeroexpress trains

The Aeroexpress trains between Moscow and Domodedovo Airport are comfortable, offer restrooms, adjustable seats, electric outlets, and business class coaches. They run between DME and Paveletsky Rail Terminal (Paveletskaya metro station) with an intermediate stop at Verkhnie Kotly station, with a travel time of 45 minutes.

If leaving from the airport just follow the signs for trains, and exit/entrance 3. There are several ways to buy your Aeroexpress tickets, as listed below:

  • At the ticket machines located on the first floor of the arrival area, and on the platform
  • At the box office located on the platform
  • On the Aeroexpress website
  • At the Aeroexpress service desks
  • In the Aeroexpress app

Trains leave in both directions every 30 minutes from around 5.30 in the morning until just after midnight.

Prices for a single ticket vary depending on where and when you buy it and what type of ticket you want starting at 300₽ for a single ticker for an adult, and 130₽ for children aged 5-7. Children under the age of 5 travel for free given that proof of age is provided.

Transfer to and from Moscow Domodedovo Airport by commuter train

Another option for transfer between Moscow and DME is the commuter train, with a commute time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. The commuter train also runs between Paveletsky Rail Terminal in Moscow and the airport train station but with more stops en route than the Aeroexpress.
