Flight Arrivals at Moscow Domodedovo Airport

Domodedovo Mikhail Lomonosov International Airport (DME) consists of one single terminal building divided into 3 levels and it houses both departing and arriving domestic and international flights.

When you arrive on a domestic flight you may go straight to the domestic baggage claim area, before proceeding towards your transfer of choice to your chosen destination.

When you arrive on an international flight you have to first go through the passport control before you can head to the international baggage claim area. Once your entire luggage is picked up you are obliged to go through the customs control, and if you have anything to declare you also have to fill out a customs declaration. Once you, and your luggage, have been cleared you are allowed to proceed towards your chosen transfer and your destination of choice.

Shops and restaurants

Once through the arrival procedure and you have entered the common area of the terminal you have several options of cafés, restaurants and fast food places to eat something before leaving the airport, located in various places on levels 1 and 2.

On level 2 we can also find a pharmacy, bookstores and newsstands and wireless stores.

ATMs, banks and currency exchange at Domodedovo Airport

All ATMs at Moscow Domodedovo Airport can be found in the common areas of the terminal, on landside, on levels 1 and 2. Payment machines can be located on all three levels.

Sberbank of Russia has a branch on level 2 in the common area of the Terminal, and they offer following banking services, as well as a few more:

• Currency exchange
• Term deposits in roubles, US dollars, and euros
• Money transfers in Russia and abroad
• Debit and credit cards

Cash desks and exchange offices can be found within both the domestic and the international arrival areas as well as on level 1 of the common area.

Other facilities at Moscow Domodedovo Airport

The Chapel of St. Michael the Archangel is located on level 2 in the terminal’s common area and it is open 24/7 for anyone who wishes to have a moment of peace and quiet in prayer or contemplation.

The Safar Mosque is located on level 1 in the terminal’s common area and is open 7.00-00.00 all days of the week.

There is also a Synagogue located on level 2 in the common area of the terminal, open Monday-Thursday and Sunday 9.00-18.00 (except days of traditional Jewish holidays).

Smoking areas

Smoking inside in public places is prohibited in Russia. Restrooms at the airport have signs informing of the prohibition and have smoke detectors. Not following the law will result in fines.

There are dedicated smoking areas located in short distance from the entrances to the terminal, for the convenience of anyone visiting or travelling through the airport.

WiFi at Moscow Domodedovo Airport

WiFi (DME_free) at Moscow Domodedovo Airport is available in the passenger areas. After connecting go to a browser and to a site of your choice where you will be led through an identification process and acceptance of terms and conditions, before you are fully connected. The identification process might be subject to a cost, but the use of WiFi is otherwise free.

Transfers at Moscow Domodedovo Airport

• Rental Cars: All rental car desks at Domodedovo Airport can be found on level 1 in the common area, next to entrance 1. Some of the companies available are Sixt, Rentmotors, Elex Polus and Avis.
• Trains: Both Aeroexpress trains and the commuter trains leave from the platform located outside of entrance 3, with connections to central Moscow.
• Buses: The buses leave from the forecourt outside entrance 3 with connections to Moscow, Domodedovo, Novoye Domodedovo, Krasny Put, Vzletnaya, Rastunovo and Ryazan (via Kolomna and Lukhovitsy).
• Taxis: There are two official taxi companies serving the airport, Gett and Domtrans. These taxis can be booked via a kiosk within the arrival areas or taxi desks in the common areas, or the taxi company website. Gett also has an app for pre-booking the taxi. You are recommended to only use one of these two companies when taking a taxi from the airport, even though you might be approached by other companies. Moscow Domodedovo Airport does not take any responsibility if you use a third-party company.
• Car-sharing: Different companies provide car sharing to the airport. You need to register in the company’s application, and provide the documents required. Operators offering this service are Delimobile, Belkacar, MATROSHCar and Yandex.Drive.
• Pick-ups: Short-term parking is available for a fee outside the terminal building.
